Prof Dr Saruhan Cekirge is the codirector of Division of Interventional Neuroradiology of Koru Hospitals and director of Interventional Neuroradiology of Bayindir Hospitals in Ankara. As a pioneer of contemporary Interventional Neuroradiology, He dedicated himself since 1992 with his partner Prof Saatci developing and improving advanced endovascular treatment techniques for the treatment of cerebral aneurysms and AVMs, while focusing on training of neurointerventinists worldwide about advanced endovascular treatment techniques since 2001 either in his institutions with international workshops or proctoring/performing cases outside of his institution globally from North America to Japan. He was one of the main organizers of past ACINR and ACINR/LINNC live neurointerventional courses. Presently, He is also one of the main creators of Global Live Case Neuroendovascular Treatment Education platform called ‘’World Live Neurovascular Course (WLNC)’’ which rotates every year between different continents since 2013.
Dr Cekirge has more than 120 publications and more than 6000 citations in English literature related those publications.
